The Mazzei Formula 5-Rotor is back on the dyno with a massive new 119mm FIS turbocharger, and it's time to find out whether bigger really means better.
In this video, we compare dyno results from the new turbo against our previous setup, analyze the data, and break down exactly where power was gained, and where it wasn't. We also continue refining the calibration by tuning the flat-shift system for faster gear changes and better drivability.
Along the way, we test different intake filter screens to see how they affect airflow and performance, then dig into the dyno graphs to understand what the engine is telling us. The results led us to an important conclusion about the current intake system and our next step in development.
With the data in hand, we're now moving forward with plans for a completely new intake manifold designed to improve airflow and unlock even more performance from the turbocharged peripheral-port 5-rotor.
