A very large, wedge shaped tornado crosses interstate 40 near El Reno, Oklahoma. I get as close as I dare as power flashes show where the tornado is taking out power lines.

With a path width of 2.6 miles across (4.2km) That makes it the new record holder for the largest tornado ever documented!! The wind speed was clocked at 296 mph (476 km/h.)

Unfortunately, this was the tornado that killed Storm chasers: Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras and Carl Young.
