This was very painful, but it was worth it in the end. It took over one year since I started to grind deathless any%, and over 600 hours (estimate), but I like to say that since this is 100%, I've been practicing since I started playing this game; over 1.400 hours of gameplay now.

Celeste came out in 2018, and Farewell (the last chapter) came out in 2019, and this was the first time this was ever done.

Thank you for everyone that supported me and followed me through this journey. You're all the best; you know who you are!

Doing 100% no deaths was just a very distant dream, that I started even as a joke after I did any% deathless. But I wanted to show my appreciation to this wonderful game and its design, and this makes me so happy that I did such a thing in my favorite game.

This run does not include golden berries, since it would be redundant.
For the 100% category in speedrun.com, you need all A sides, all B sides, all C sides, all red berries, all hearts, Farewell and the Moon Berry. Pico-8 is not necessary.

I got the 1-UP at the start as a joke, because it would in theory offset the 1 death I'd have later on for the Moonberry. (it doesn't actually do anything, but I also didn't actually die, so...)

I do play with keyboard and controller at the same time, as I find it the most comfortable for me.

(ps: One thing I'd like to point out, is that this run unfortunately cannot be verified for speedrun.com; I wasn't aware of one of the rules, since I don't speedrun that much, which is that you're not allowed to quit in a run; I quit the game at 16:20 to attempt to fix audio issues my viewers were having. Obviously the run was legit and I wouldn't try to cheat early on before the run is even "good"; it's just a bit unfortunate, but the community has been following me for a bit and we know this is legit!)

*FAQ:*
*- Why is there 1 death in the journal?*
- You are required to take one death for the Moonberry at the end of Farewell, which is required for 100%; there is no way around it. Saving and Quitting achieves the same result as dying here, but doesn't show a death animation: 3:24:02

*- Why do you have 205 berries on the first savefile?*
- The game only has 202 berries in total; the 3 exceeding berries were because I was once practicing the Golden Room plus the moonberry for the double collect; the golden room is only accessible with a golden berry or console, and to practice while having the moonberry, I used the command console to give myself a free golden berry and attempt it. It's possible to practice it using console, but I wanted to really practice the bunny hops with the moonberry to not collect it early. This was years ago on an unrelated save savefile; I know it's possible to fix it by editing the game files, but I don't really care and I find it funny.
