I'm going to attempt to do a 202 run in one sitting now.twitch.tv/rickfernelloSo this is what happened:In the previous video, I finished Celeste 100% deathless, for the first time.I was not expecting to get a 202 berries (which is much more than 100%), so I didn't even try to get the winged golden in the beginning.After I finished 100%, I took a break of like 2 days, and went back to this savefile, without any practice; it was very unexpected that I got 201 without dying. Because of this, I was very hyped and I was very carefree, I was feeling truly invincible. When I got to 201 berries, I knew I couldn't pull off the winged golden without trying; I said I wasn't going to practice outside the savefile, but since I just never did it before, I decided to take 2 days to practice the final winged golden because I don't know when I'm getting another 100% deathless savefile again.At the end, I managed to get the 202 deathless. It wasn't as hype as the 100%, I think the intensity didn't have time to build up or something like that. Not nearly as many people were watching, too, I think only a bit over 100 this time.Although this run is legit, it will not be submitted to Speedrun.com because it was technically segmented; the only section I really practiced in the middle of the run was the winged golden as I never did it before deathless, but it's fair.Anyways, enjoy! Celeste Grandmaster Heartside CLEAR (by Strawberry Jam Collab) Rickfernello 2023-09-26 | And that's the end of 100% of Celeste Strawberry Jam Collab!Passionfruit Pantheon and this whole collab was absolutely incredible! This immaculate collab was made by the greatest community I could ever be a part of. It makes me wish I was part of the creation of this incredible mod, too. Something orchestrated with the love of hundreds of people that came together to create pretty levels they love.This community has changed my life and I am extremely grateful for it.In the final cracked levels of GM, Nelumbo and The Solar Express specifically, I was very hesitant to finish since they were very difficult and straining on the fingers. I almost completely gave up on TSE and started doing silver and golden berries in between. With that, I had finished every silver and golden up until expert, and even began and played for about 40 hours Drifting Deep for its silver.The hardest flag was probably Pinball Purgatory (aka Pumber). Shattersong came close though!Shattersong flag was extremely cool, since that ending is amazing.The music was out of this world too!Definitely didn't do as good as Parrot_Dash and so many other skilled players, but I was proud of clearing some flags rather fast!Not sure if this was my hardest clear of a map yet. Celeste Expert Heartside Golden Strawberry - Starfruit Supernova! Missing 1 map, a few berries, and the Heartside.This was one of my first videos where I tried making a high effort edit! All editing was made by me this time, with a lot of help from Zordesu.Expert Heartside Golden was super fun! The Pillars of Creation Mix is amazing - Thanks Zord for the awesome suggestion for thumbnail! Apparently those are also called the Pillars of Creation in real life. I didn't know that!This golden took about 50 hours and 12 days to complete; I thought it was going to take me much more and I wasn't confident on doing it at the beginning, saying I was only gonna do low deaths. But it worked out at the end and I really enjoyed it! I recommend it as a Tier 1 Golden. This was my first T1 so I have no idea about the difficulty of the others. Might try for something like that!Also, I totally fluked a bunch of it; my previous PB was flag 8 (Lunar Pagoda) times 2. So I did the entirety of the last checkpoint without dying!This is definitely harder than Grandmaster Heartside for Spring Collab, but because of my approach to it, maybe it didn't feel as hard.In case you haven't already, I highly recommend Strawberry Jam! It has levels for all difficulty ranges. For comparison, this is difficulty "4/5" while the hardest thing in Vanilla Celeste would be difficulty "2/5".This is the first video on YouTube that I've been using my VTube studio avatar! Celeste Grandmaster Heartside (by 2020 Spring Collab) Golden Strawberry Rickfernello 2023-01-29 | And with this, Spring Collab 2020 is completed! And just in time before the Strawberry Jam Celeste Collab mod is released!Featuring my dog Teddy barking non-stop in the background lol. He was just very excited!Grandmaster Heartside was probably the hardest map I've goldened so far! Even then, I expected it to be harder because of everyone's horror stories. A lot of people said this was nightmarish and suffering to get, but I honestly quite enjoyed all the grind! The hardest part is definitely Flag 2, Heart of the Storm, both with the Tornado portals trick at the start, and the chained ultras at the end. But Flag 2, Kokodoko, was actually a big problem for me, as it felt inconsistent, even when doing the skip I was doing. Doing it the intended way felt even harder.A few people got upset I skipped Temporal Tower by using a cheese in Crypt of the Kevins in flag 6. Personally I think the challenge was to get all the goldens and silvers in the collab, and using and finding cheese is completely acceptable, since we'll be using that in other places as well. Not to mention, this cheese looks pretty cool and is probably even faster than doing the intended strat.Also, there's a cut on the video at the end, because I actually forgot to collect 2 red berries in Intermediate Lobby and the Prologue heart lolAnyways, that was it! Thanks to everyone that followed on this time where I got all of these berries! Celeste Grandmaster Silver Berry - Heart of the Storm (by CANADIAN) Rickfernello 2023-01-26 | So this was a tough one!I personally think this was harder than Ultra Difficult. Definitely the hardest Silver berry in the collab.Heart of the Storm is a really good and intense map, and it was super satisfying to finish. CANADIAN makes some really good ones.There are a lot of Ultras in this map, and they feel even tighter than Ultra Difficult for some reason. FAQ at 2:37This run includes:All Strawberries (red berries); All Hearts; All Tapes; All Full Clears; All A sides; All B sides; All C sides; Farewell; the Moon Berry; Pico-8 Celeste Classic Full Clear; the Winged Golden Berry; and All Golden Berries, so I had to do every level TWICE.This took over 1.600 hours, done throughout 2 years of practice for the Deathless run.I have done 100% Deathless back in March, and I managed to fluke 202 Deathless on the same savefile; but it was never in a single session.Now, after more than 1000 hours of trying after that, I managed to do it all in a single run. Being nervous and fatigued made an incredible difference.This run is also known as max% or 202 berries run, and it also includes ALL achievements, and Pico-8 with all berries.The difference of a 100% run and a 202 run, is that after finishing 100% of the game, I have to do every individual level again with no deaths, to collect the golden berries. Celeste Mod - Static Shift (made by ABuffZucchini) Rickfernello 2022-04-23 | Insanely difficult modded map by ABuffZucchini!The main gimmick of this map is that a lot of the inputs are buffered, and the screens are very small but extremely dense. So in most screens you'll have to do very quick buffered inputs. Definitely a Grandmaster level of difficulty despite looking so small.Apparently Zucchini wanted this map to be unfun and unreadable, but a lot of people ended up liking it. Unsure if that was intended or not.Gameplay is super smooth, very nice setups, extremely easy to read. I first tried a few rooms and berries the first time I played it. By analyzing you can do pretty much everything on the first go. The B side room was a bit difficult compared to the rest. Reminds me of Forward Facility, which is one of my favorite maps, so this one is easily one of my favorites this year already. It took over one year since I started to grind deathless any%, and over 600 hours (estimate), but I like to say that since this is 100%, I've been practicing since I started playing this game; over 1.400 hours of gameplay now.Celeste came out in 2018, and Farewell (the last chapter) came out in 2019, and this was the first time this was ever done.Thank you for everyone that supported me and followed me through this journey. You're all the best; you know who you are!Doing 100% no deaths was just a very distant dream, that I started even as a joke after I did any% deathless. Made me get super nervous at the end.There is no Grey Prince Zote because this was made in my second savefile, where I tried to do the remaining achievements, including banishing the Grimm Troupe and letting Zote die.I have a total of 182 hours in this game, but a lot of them are AFKing.I'd say this is very different from doing P5 normally, it's significantly harder.I didn't use mods to practice the bindings.As for my dog, he likes to whine when other people aren't home, so that he gets attention. I did go to check on his food and gave him some toys, and I even played with him in the middle of the video; he was just bored.
