World eX and #racingfortheclimate are heading to the virtual streets of Maastricht on July 26 for the Nextview Maastricht eX Prix presented by BS+COMPETITION supporting Forest Conservation Kenya. Expect thrilling racing and a lot of slipstreaming with the 1,000 hp all-alectric eX ZERO prototypes on a super fast city street circuit.
Nine professional teams hold an exclusive license to compete in the World eX Championship: Absolute Racing (China), ACER VERO R8G (France), Biela Racing Team EURONICS (Germany), BS+COMPETITION (Germany), Esports Team WRT (Belgium), NIANCO esports (Switzerland), Patrick Long Esports (USA), TK9 E-SPeeD (Denmark) and Williams Esports (United Kingdom).
Frank Biela, Romain Grosjean, Tom Kristensen, Patrick Long, Nico Müller, Alessio Picariello, Bruno Senna, Bruno Spengler and Vincent Vosse are the Team Principals and they have until race day 10:00 UTC to decide their driver line-ups.
Each team has to compete with one PRO driver and one ESPORTS racer. Expect some big names on the grid like Romain Grosjean or Bruno Senna.
The teams' cars are competing for the World Championship title. ACER VERO R8G's "Vero 88" is leading the standings heading into the Maastricht race followed by TK9 E-SPeeD's "Danish Dynamite". Host team BS+COMPETITION holds P3 with their "ZEBRAlen" eX ZERO.
Each team is connected to a climate preservation project. BS+COMPETITION is supporting Forest Conservation Kenya.
