The world's largest trebuchet siege engine at Warwick Castle in the midlands, fired daily and similar to the design of the smaller trebuchet at Dover castle. It stands 18 metres tall and weighs 22 tonnes, It uses a 5 tonne swinging counterweight on the end of the arm to fire rounds of 15kg in weight at up to 250 kmh (150 mph) but can cope with projectiles of up to ten times this weight!
