Form without function is a waste of time. In this episode, my long awaited shelves seem to fight their birth, perhaps because I really wanted a particular form to take shape and part of that design didn't serve much practical purpose and the rest seemed nigh impossible to make look good. I am a patient guy though and can wait until the solution presents itself. And sometimes that unfortunately means going along a different path then what I had first envisioned. Or does it? Perhaps a beer by the fireplace is all I need to find the solution to creating my shelves AND keeping that little flair I deem so important...
