Don't believe the hype! I am sick and tired of the exaggerations being thrown at us by the weather people nowadays. BE AFRAID! THATS what sells. UGH. To prove my point, I bought two thermometers and set one in my workshop and laid the other on the ground in the sun. Granted, it was hot the day that I filmed this during the summer of 2024, but I was barely sweating sitting outdoors while the talking heads were screaming about 'feeels like temperatures' ... well, little has changed since a year ago. I don't care WHAT they say! I'm going fishing. And I'm not going to bring my big hat...well, maybe I'll bring the little umbrella... But I'm NOT going to wear sunscreen. Well, maybe just a little zinc on my nose...

If you are reading this and you decide to take a picture of your car's thermometer while you're parked in a Walmart , surrounded by asphalt, then it's your own ass fault for believing what you see on the news. I say, plant a tree, go paddling on a kayak. Take a swim while you're out there. Come back and have a beer in the shade of a tree. Hopefully there are some trees still left where you are.
