Working on a Sony SL-HFT7 'SuperBeta Theater' HiFi Betamax VCR. Combining parts from two machines to get one working unit. Also giving iMovie a try.
The SL-HFT7 was one of the first VCR's with a built-in amplifier and speaker outputs making it ideal for building a basic home theater - at least it was back in the mid-80s when this came out. Was still useful when we needed to hook a DVD machine to a TV without A/V in/outs.
Sadly the tuner module finally burned out after sporadic functionality. Seems to be a 'thing' with these.
