Migrant workers in southern Spain pick a lot of the fruit and vegetables that stock UK supermarket shelves. Workers’ rights abuses are endemic across the sector, with many workers earning below minimum wage while supermarkets rake in profits.
Alongside unions, workers and organisations like Anti-Slavery International and Landworkers’ Alliance, we’ve been campaigning on this issue since 2019.
