Work Extra 473 handles a few cars to move material for the new Silverton bridge project. The day prior, the engine was left in Silverton overnight due to a very broken leaf spring on the trailing truck. On this day, the crew operating was initially called to work the bridge, but were able to replace the spring and then used the engine to move cars for the work train until the next engine crew arrived to bring the locomotive back to Durango.
