Learning to work with wood was one of our highlights from this past weekend. Lowe’s Home Improvement put on a summer long series on building super heroes from some pretty cool kits that they hand out for free! The woodworking project for this week was to make the Black Widow comic book character. The boys had a blast learning how to use the hammer and got pretty good too.

Braxton also had a sleepover with one of his best friends that he’s known since he was 8 weeks old. We went to the movies to see the brand new Pete’s Dragon. We had a lot of fun seeing the new remake from the 1977 Pete’s Dragon and they give a review like only two 3rd graders could afterward.

Harrison is learning to potty train. He is quickly filling up his sticker chart, but still has trouble with number two on the potty. I would love to get him out of diapers soon! :)

Finally, school started this week for Braxton as he heads off to third grade. He was so excited that he was fully dressed with his backpack on, 3 hours before the bell even rings.

Thank you so much for watching. We post new films weekly, every Thursday at lunchtime.
