This weeks project is something I do enjoy doing, taking a freshly cut piece of wood, rough turning it, drying it and then finishing to natural luster but not to a high gloss. The oak burl has been finished with Danish oil only and the piece will now be left for a few weeks to ensure the wood has settled before being put on my website.
