Using the Longer Laser B1 to do the cut outs on the top of this vessel. I've had the piece of wood now for about 5 years at the bottom of the wood pile, but its not until you start turning you find out (in this case) just how bad a piece of wood it is.
It got to the point where I did as much as I could to repair to hold it together, unfortunately this had the knock on effect of making the top piece in one section start to burn away as it was being cut out, which then had to be repaired again, ultimately I went for the aged rustic look to finish!
