Made from Port Orford Cedar and finished in Danish Oil, the Spiral Void explores the tension between presence and absence. Excluding the base form, there was Sixteen hours of meticulous shaping and hand-sanding reveal a flowing, organic spiral that invites light to move through its form. The spiral cuts create a sense of motion, while the hollowed body suggests both fragility and strength a vessel that feels alive, as if it might continue to unfurl.
