In this video I make a lazy susan, the postmaster Lady Kara asked me if i could make her one so challenge accepted, i chose Brazilian cherry because it is beautiful although extremely hard and dusty to turn, i ended up using carbide tools as I was having a dificult time with traditional tools
I purchased a large bearing from princess auto that i thought would do the trick, i used a mortice in the top section and a tenon in the bottom section to fit into the bearing, and used 2 part epoxy to glue these together.

I have been woodturning sice 2013, i love it as a creative outlet and the community or woodturners is great, there is lots of help and support out there available at the touch of a button. don't be intimidated or scared to ask questions no matter how basic, most of all be safe in your workshop, follow all safety rules and guidlines.

it is recommended to get proper training with power tools to prevent accidents
