This project has been in the works for months. I cut the blank for it already back in April and now I finally got to completing it. The bowl is made from a slab of Walnut that has bark all around the outside, i.e the first or the last slab you get when slicing up a tree. Each tree section yields two of them and hence I have a lot of these. I already made a few similar bowls which all warped quite a bit. The results are getting better now that the wood has dried out. This one came out really nice. Let me know wat you think!
