i cut this blank and was going to turn a square thing round but instead i turned a square thing square.
watch out for those corners they are hard to see. turning air can be fun but it can also be dangerous, maintaining concentration is key to success
my finishing process
sand to 320 using oil to reduce dust
clean with denatured alcohol
apply 3 coats of thin sanding sealer
allow to dry
de nib with a scouring pad
apply yorkshire grit and buff to a brilliant base
remove all residue
apply hampshire sheen high gloss, buff to a brilliant shine
apply as many coats as you want
remove all residue
apply hampshire sheen microcrystalline wax and buff to an even more brilliant shine
remove all residue
thank you for watching
