about 3 years ago a friend have me some hackberrry wood from Pelee island which is located in lake Erie Canada, i had seen some spalted hackberry that someone else had turned so had to have some, not knowing or even thinking that it was spalted I found this within today
i have been woodturning sice 2013, i love it as a creative outlet and the community or woodturners is great, there is lots of help and support out there available at the touch of a button. don't be intimidated or scared to ask questions no matter how basic, most of all be safe in your workshop, follow all safety rules and guidlines.
use channels such as mine as inspiration and entertainment.
it is recommended to get proper training with power tools to prevent accidents
most of all remember to be creative and have fun
