Wood that bends??
Bending wood has always been a time consuming and challenging process, this product that I found will make many jobs easier and far more cost and time effective.
This is a unique material that has been formulated to allow the craftsman to us a solid material that can be machined like MDF and then formed into a bend using a simple hot air gun.
I have faced several jobs that have involved making a curved section of moulding to match existing finishes and have had to spend time kerfing the material to allow it to make a raduis this then needs careful filling and finishing by the decorator
Other ways of forming curved moulding are spindle moulder, CNC or 5 Access CNC all of these are more suited if you need to use real timber or particular hardwoods, but for a painted moulding or for paint effect like graining this material is perfect
