geni.us/advice I am making a pattern rafter for the Big Garage Build, this involves measuring the span of the building and then running a calculation to find the rafter length to enable me to set out the pattern rafter
I am also forming a finished end to the rafters with a router as they will be on show as a feature eave.
Once that is done I need to drill the pilot holes and do a counterbore for the long Stainless steel fixings that will connect the rafters to the wall plates and Oak beams and purlins
