A surprising result from my new Moisture meter. A piece of wood I recently gathered and thought was dry turned out to be rather wet. Moisture meters are worth having if you burn wood even though you think the wood is dry, it could be wetter than you think.
As an average though I was pleased to find most of my firewood, even that stored outside was around 15% moisture content which is in the acceptable range
