Ana Mo Shoshin | Women In Translation Recommendations | WIT Month 2023 | Korean, Swedish, Japanese, Polish, and more! @AnaMoShoshin | Uploaded August 2023 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
Hi, I’m Mo.
I decided to make this video, kinda at the last minute, bc I really love these books by women in translation! They may be books you've heard of before, but I couldn't help sharing them! Many of these books have really dar themes and someone recently pointed out that that's the case in many books written by women and translated into english. Does that say something about what gets published in the western world? Or something about the plight of women around the world? Or all of the above?
Looking back, a lot of these books were on my TBR for WIT month last year. I'm so happy I've gotten to so many of them! youtu.be/rMh-75HqLRA
What's your favorite book by a woman in translation? What is your most read translated language?
