In the EU, women make up 41% of the workforce in science and engineering.
Yet, when one looks at the pool of talent, they account for 48% of PhD graduates. We may be bridging the education gap, but we still have some catching up to do when it comes to improving their opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Pursuing a career in the scientific ecosystem is rewarding, interesting, offering a life-long learning experience.
@fusionforenergy , we are celebrating the remarkable role of women in science by interviewing five of our talented colleagues working in different areas. They all shape science in their own way because science needs to be inclusive making room for all. We question, learn, and dream as one team.
We are trying to make sense of today’s challenges and address some of the challenges of tomorrow, like energy.
