The ITER Tokamak building, the main building of the biggest fusion energy project, is ready to receive its massive components.
The cranes of the Assembly Hall, the workshop where the components will be put together, can now access the central pit. A rooftop is fully covering both buildings closing them permanently from above so that the pieces of equipment are safely installed.
We are now ready to begin a new chapter - the assembly phase of ITER!
