My recollection of what happened (before the camera turned on):
I arrived at the Mt. Hood Max platform to await the MAX train to downtown, things were calm at first. Some passengers were already there and a couple of security guards standing around (which wasnt uncommon). Shortly after my arrival at the station, a Portland Police officer arrived and spoke to the guards that were already there. While they spoke, another officer arrived, they conversed for a few short moments before walking over to a woman seated in the shelter. They began to perform an arrest of the woman and (according to eyewitness as she wasnt in my direct line of sight at that moment) she swung on the officer. The officers worked her out of the bench and onto the ground and that where the video starts.
Officers from the Port of Portland Police (not connected to Portland Police Bureau) stopped by to see if they could be of any assistance.
I do not know the identity of this woman and I do not know the outcome of her case.
