Today, we're going to take a look at some unbelievable footage from 1912 from H&W Port, Belfast, as we witness the Titanic shipyard in operation.

This footage from 1912 shows the early stages of construction of the Titanic, as well as the shipyard's response to the iceberg collision that doomed the ship. Watch as the cameras capture the incredible transformation of the H&W Port Titanic shipyard into the world's most famous shipbuilding facility!

Includes the rescue of survivors and rescue ships searching for survivors of the RMS Titanic, a British passenger liner, operated by the White Star Line, which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, to New York City.
