During the 80's an object that appeared to have tentacles and was as large as two story house was witnessed by a couple near an army base in Strath Creek, Australia. The object hovered silently just above the ground. The two witnesses were considered reliable and well respected in the community. Other sightings overnight were reported in Melbourne. No radar contacts were made and no military activity occurred in the skies that night. Police told the witnesses that what they saw was a secret weapon by the military. Other locals in Strath Creek reported seeing a convoy roll through the town that night but the military deny they ever visited.
