This video contains audio of James E McDonald interviewing Westall high school teacher Andrew Greenwood who witnessed the UFO on April 6 1966. The interview occured on June 28 1967. This is the only known sighting report by an adult regarding the infamous Westall UFO incident. I don't think this has ever been posted online before and it is a huge piece of evidence for the case.

The search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) is a collective term for the scientific search for intelligent extraterrestrial life. On October 10, 2016 SETI released a paper for publication under the title Discovery of peculiar periodic spectral modulations in a small fraction of solar type stars. The paper states Extraterrestrial Intelligence as a likely hypothesis.
The recent paper states that two astronomers used data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and analyzed the spectra of 2.5 million stars. From all of the stars, they found discovered 234 stars that are producing light signals. The signals are not caused by instrumental or data analysis effects, the signals are not generated by molecules or rapid pulsations and it is highly unlikely that the signals come from the Fourier transform of spectral lines.
Here is an excerpt from the abstract: Finally we consider the possibility, predicted in a previous published paper, that the signals are caused by light pulses generated by Extraterrestrial
Intelligence to makes us aware of their existence.
We find that the detected signals have exactly the shape of an ETI signal predicted in the previous publication and are therefore in agreement with this hypothesis. The fact that they are only
found in a very small fraction of stars within a narrow spectral range centered near the spectral type of the sun is also in agreement with the ETI hypothesis.

Jan 19, 1966: Farmer George Pedley, witnessed a saucer-shaped craft ascend over Horseshoe Lagoon near the town of Tully, Australia.
Investigating the area from where the object rose Mr. Pedley discovered a circular clearing in the lagoon.
Revisiting the site for a second time before lunch, Mr. Pedley now noticed a mass of reeds floating on the surface of Horseshoe Lagoon. The reeds were in a flattened, clockwise, radial formation.
Pedley returned once more with the owner of the land where the sighting had occurred. When arriving the men discovered they could swim underneath the nest without obstruction. They also noted that the water around them was clear and the lagoon floor was free of roots and residue.
There was no doubt in Pedleys mind that the impression was caused by the unexplained object he witnessed.

AW-564: Cactus 564...off to our 3:00, got some strobes out there.
Could you tell us what it is?
ABQ: Uh, Uh..Ill tell you what, thats some, uh..right now
...I dont know what it is right now. That is a
restricted area that is used by the military out there
during the day time.
AW-564: Yeah...its pretty odd.
ABQ: Hold on ...let me see if anybody else knows around here.

AW-564: Cactus 564..can you paint that object at all on your radar
ABQ: Cactus 564...No I dont, and in talkin to 3 or 4 guys
around here no one knows what that is, never heard about
that.
AW-564: Cactus 564...nobodys painting it at all?

AW-564: I said theres nothing on their radars on the other centers
at all on that (garbled) clear area, ...that object thats
up in the air?

AW-564: I dont know, probably right around 30,000 or so. And its
uh...theres a strobe that starts..um, going on counter-
clockwise, and uh...the length is unbelievable.

(NOTE: The last question above cannot be readily identified as having come
from the Albuquerque FAA controller. Perhaps it was, however since a conversation
with Cannon AFB began just at this point it could well indicate that the conversation
was being monitored. The very next statement heard is the Albuquerque FAA
controller calling to Cannon AFB.)

CANNON: Cannon..go ahead
ABQ: Do you guys know if there was anything like a tethered
balloon released that should be above tieband?
CANNON: Uh, no, we havent heard nothin about it.
(BOTH) Uh, ok..(some chuckling), uh, ha..
ABQ: A guy at 39,000 says he sees something at 30,000 thats as,
..the length is unbelievable and it has a strobe on it.
CANNON: Uh huh...?
ABQ: This is NOT good..(laughing)..okay...
CANNON: Uh, wha..what does that mean?:
ABQ: (laughing)..I dont know, its a ufo or something, its that
Roswell crap again!
CANNON: Wheres it at now?
ABQ: He says its right in tieband.

our aerostats cut loose or something cause we dont
have any aerostats there.
