I WARNED YOU ABOUT QUALITY DROP
A quick, rushed, rough and messy sketch for an idea thats over half a year/maybe even a year. And I might as well quickly draw it out before I forget and stuff
Soooo yeah, may redo this in the future, and clean it up.
Story time..
Lona feels out of place and without purpose ever since her split from Leif. She tries to engage in their life and relationship with Linda, but ends up taking the back seat most of the time, watching Leif and Linda flourish as sisters. However, on the night Linda fails to return, Leif is kept oblivious by her own childish innocence. R presents himself formally before Lona, and offers a gift of apathy, and undying attention to Leif, a purpose and someone to live for. In this rough time, Leif needs someone, a mother, a sister, a friend. Someone mature and the opposite of her reality resisting nature. And Lona takes on that responsibility, feeling her neutral self fade as she begins to feel more matured... more open to the reality around, and all the things she must protect and guide Leif through.
Later when telling Leif how she has found her purpose by being With R, and embodying the gift he offered, Leif misunderstands and assumes Lona is calling herself "Wither". Wither, willing to undergo a change of name as she passes into a different person, agrees and becomes known as Wither.
