"Witchcraft Activism: A Toolkit for Magical Resistance" by David Salisbury, published by Weiser Books, 2019.
One thing I didn't mention in this video that someone had asked me about this book when I shared earlier on social media that I was reading it, was whether this is a "Witchcraft 101" type book. No, it is not! This book is not intended as an introduction to all of Witchcraft, and is not suitable for picking up and "learning how to be a Witch." That is actually a good thing for those people who don't want to just read a bunch of beginner books with the same introductory information over and over. This book includes basic concepts that could introduce someone unfamiliar with Witchcraft/magickal practice to using magic(k) in their activist work, but it is not an "everything you need to know about the Craft" kind of read. It's very much its own thing, geared toward this merging of Witchcraft with activism, for those who want to use the two together. Great question someone had asked, and I forgot to touch on in the video, so just wanted to add that here!
