Crews are helping drive the redevelopment of downtown Milwaukee by designing and installing a deep foundation system to expand the Wisconsin Center to 300,000 square feet.
The work includes thousands of driven piles, micropiles installed beneath the existing structure, and extensive earth retention to support deep excavations and underpinning. All elements are tied together so the new and existing structures perform as one.
Completed on an aggressive schedule within a tight urban site, the project requires constant coordination to ensure safe, efficient progress across multiple crews and phases of work.
