Winterwolf is a Finnish Death metal band, formed in Maaninka / Kuopio. The band became Deathchain in 2001, but in 2006 the original line-up decided to resurrect Winterwolf to make a limited vinyl album. After schedule-related troubles with other members, Corpse recruited Bobby Undertaker, K.E.Pestilence and E.R.Insane in 2008. Abomanitor ( Antti Boman ) and Rotten joined the band during the making of the new album in 2009.
During the recordings of the new album in 2009 Corpse gave up vocal duties to Rotten and Aboman because he felt his voice was no longer suitable for Winterwolf.
Discography :
Death... Will Come Your Way ( Demo, 2000 )
Blood for Death ( Demo, 2001 )
Cycle of the Werewolf ( Full-length, 2009 )
This is from their first full-length "Cycle of the Werewolf" of 2009
Lyrics :
Age of the unholy never passes
It's sleeping when not in roam
Always aware of time's haste
Doesn't care for the laws of men
Lycanthropic Aeons, Intertia of the Wicked
Laughter and howling in the night
Shadows dancing in the mist
Entrails ripped and torn apart
The beast has gone into hiding
Written in history through our blood
Blood that we are damned to bleed
Lycanthropic Aeons - Endless tragedy
The curse that lives on and on
Sightings of witches' sabbath
Stories of pacts with the Devil
Beasts killing when the moon is full
And they wake as men in the morning...
Lycanthropic Aeons, Inertia of the Wicked
Blood follows time eternally
Claws of death are ever-sharp
Death patrols prowl the woods
They always return with empty hands
Fear of unknown remains strong
Will the killing never end...
We'll vanish without a trace
Legend of a killer remains
A story to tell - to leave behind
To a breed that are born as cattle

![Hard Rock Sallinen - Bye Bye, Girl, Hello, Woman
Have you ever wondered, where did the Finnish Metal start its glorious voyage ?
Hard Rock Sallinen was founded 1975 in Kauhava, and was probably the first Metal band in Finland ( Music had lots of Hard rock tendencies though ) [Sarcofagus was first Finnish Metal band to record in 79]. Hard Rock Sallinen recorded Lets make love/Solong my friend Single in 1980 through Rockit and Heavy Metal Symphony full-length in 1982, through Zero label. Band also recorded live albums in Rock Rallye 77 and Provinssi Rock 80.
The band didnt apparently have such a big influence to the finnish audience back then and after Hard Rock Sallinen came to its end after their full-length, the bands members did not continue with any new projects. Still this band can be considered as the first milestone in the Heavy Metal History of Finland.
This song is the fifth track of their 1982s Heavy Metal Symphony Hard Rock Sallinen - Bye Bye, Girl, Hello, Woman](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/85vUIJjyOC8/mqdefault.jpg)
