Adramelech was founded 1991 in Loimaa, Finland, and was later considered a "little brother of Demigod", hailing from the same town later and with less success. The band got it's name of the Sumerian/Babylonian demon ( please correct me ). The lyrical themes were, from the beginning, influenced by different nations beliefs and mythologies ( Ancient Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek, Scandinavian etc. ). Musically they remained pretty similar, basic Old-School Death metal, by not changing too much along the way. Despite their big influnce of mythology , they didn't use any special instruments.
Year 1991 they released their first demo "Human Extermination". Year 1992, they got signed at the first time for an french label Adipocere and recorded "Spring of Recovery" EP. After this, few years of silence, during which they recorded an independent demo "Grip of Darkness"'95 and got signed, now to Spanish Repulse records, through which Adramelech recorded "The Fall" EP at the same year.
Following first full-length "Psychostasia"'96 was released by Spanish Repulse records, owned by Dave Rotten ( who was known to be a hell of a Finnish DM fan). Also next (Generally considered Adramelech's high-point) EP "Seven"'98 was the most brutal and crushing release from the band. The following to last albums "Pure Blood Doom"'99 and "Terror of Thousand Faces" '05 managed to continue the safe DM-line of Adramelech. After this, the band was put in a hold-on, where they still remain today.
Adramelech has been one of the few bands that have managed to from in the hottest aeon of DM in Finland and still keep their DM style till so late as 2005 with only minor changes and no split-ups, disrupitons whatsoever.
The band is currently on hold, but mark my words, we haven't seen the last of them . . .
This is the opening and title track of EP "Seven".
Lyrics :
Cutha trembles in fear, mountains of the deep shake,as the messenger of Nergal raises it's soundless voice :
"Time has come, intervention undivine, god venom unleashing, grinding the land like corn.
Raise the beautiful children,to rage against mortal men, awake the foullest spawn,to show the world your father's wrath."
Words of hatred, rites of the waste, aim stare of the faceless gods.
Seven on heaven, roam the black sky, seven on earth, crawlers of the filth.
No door,no lock,no spell could hold the Asakku out,as the bearers of Kingus' blood feel the touch of mortality.
Loudly roaring above, mindlessly gibbering below, insane heralds of pestilence feel not the sorrow and pain.
Immortal spawn of Lord Stir, the cold of the deep, seven times seven foul children forever lay in wait...

![Hard Rock Sallinen - Bye Bye, Girl, Hello, Woman
Have you ever wondered, where did the Finnish Metal start its glorious voyage ?
Hard Rock Sallinen was founded 1975 in Kauhava, and was probably the first Metal band in Finland ( Music had lots of Hard rock tendencies though ) [Sarcofagus was first Finnish Metal band to record in 79]. Hard Rock Sallinen recorded Lets make love/Solong my friend Single in 1980 through Rockit and Heavy Metal Symphony full-length in 1982, through Zero label. Band also recorded live albums in Rock Rallye 77 and Provinssi Rock 80.
The band didnt apparently have such a big influence to the finnish audience back then and after Hard Rock Sallinen came to its end after their full-length, the bands members did not continue with any new projects. Still this band can be considered as the first milestone in the Heavy Metal History of Finland.
This song is the fifth track of their 1982s Heavy Metal Symphony Hard Rock Sallinen - Bye Bye, Girl, Hello, Woman](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/85vUIJjyOC8/mqdefault.jpg)
