Like many grassroots rescuers, there are few financial resources left over for professional development. Attending Humane Canada’s Summit for Animals had been a dream… but it felt out of reach.
Then something amazing happened. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and exhibitors, Nancy-Ann received a Summit Access Pass (previously called Golden Ticket) - a free registration to attend our last Summit for Animals in Montréal. Her reaction? Pure joy. “I still feel like a five-year-old little girl. I feel like I got a golden ticket to American Idol!”
