I've been passing Yarnbury hill fort next to the A303 for many decades, but never had the opportunity to have a look around, so this time, I headed out with a plan, and that was to ride a few of the byways around as an exploratory ride, and to come back and spend a few days here sometime soon. I haven't done any decent rides on the Herald since I did a few Cambridgeshire byways a couple of years ago, and It did very well.
