The Metro D Line Subway Extension expands the subway from Koreatown to Westwood, connecting Downtown Los Angeles to the Westside.
Metro Art–commissioned artist Soo Kim’s 'Night / Quartz' features photographs of buildings along the Wilshire Corridor that have been cut to create stencil-like silhouettes. These architectural cut-outs were then layered with imagery from cities around the world, forming a multi-cultural cityscape.
