This is the very first public look at a D Line Extension Section 2 station. This is the Wilshire/Rodeo Station, located under Wilshire Bl from Beverly Dr to Canon Dr.
The station entrance will be on the southwest corner of Wilshire Bl and Reeves Dr in the heart of Beverly Hills.
As you can see crews are hard at work building the platform and other internal structures, ensuring there are no leaks in the tunnel, and working toward a forecasted 2026 opening.
This station is one of two stations in the second phase of the D Line Extension project. The other is located at Century City.
The three Section 1 stations, forecast to open late this year, are Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Cienega. When the third and final section opens, the D Line will extend all the way to Westwood.
