This Green Goblin paint-test helmet was created for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man (2002), where Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn transformed into one of superhero cinema’s most unforgettable villains.
Created by Academy Award-winning effects team Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc., the helmet was used to test different finishes during development of the Goblin’s high-tech armoured look. It can even be seen in behind-the-scenes footage being used by ADI craftspeople as a reference while creating the final helmets for the film.
