The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is considering remedies to break up tech giant Google, after a historic antitrust ruling determined the company was employing illegal monopolistic practices in its search engine. The DOJ might request a judge to require Google to sell off parts of its business. Google faces other legal challenges as a US federal judge issued an injunction in a separate antitrust case on Monday, forcing it to offer alternatives to its Play Store for Android users downloading apps.
