In this video, I discuss whether or not monetary usage of Bitcoin can ultimately price out non-monetary usage.

I conclude that it simply cannot, because non-monetary transactions are willing to pay much higher transaction fees.

If we're not careful, we might end up with blocks completely full of spam that is paying sky-high transaction fees.
