Weekly Catch-up:
The guys both get out to spend time with shorebirds this past week. Brad visits a lake shoreline and captures some stunning light and colors behind the birds he is working with. He also does a second outing and adds some early season waterfowl into the mix. Ray visits a New Jersey beach and almost gets blown away in the wind. Sand covers his gear and everything else and he has a blast shooting in it with some dramatic skies at sunrise.

Ray and Brad share their opinion on the recent results from Bird Photographer of the Year, Audubon’s yearly photo contest, and Ocean Photographer of the Year. They highlight some amazing photography and share what they love about it as well as point out some questionable choices in each contest and discuss what might be the reason for these images getting chosen.
