Ray is in Arizona running away from the cold as always but not shooting much here. Brad revisited his usual Purple Sandpiper location and after taking a few great standard portraits he realized he needed to try something new. Since he has shot that location for so many years and taken so many of the same shots it was time to change things up. He then mounted up his 100-400mm lens and dropped his shutter speed to include movement and motion with huge crashing waves on the shoreline of Newfoundland in the winter. Ray ends the episode sharing about a similar situation in his past where he ended up using an old wedding photography technique to capture something entirely different.
