Welcome back to Unraveled with Mx Domestic 💛
This week’s livestream is a full-on fabric parade. We’re diving into a stack of brand new arrivals, exploring color palettes, organic cotton, modern blenders, metallic coordinates, and a few upcoming collections that I’m very excited about.
We start with Wildest Dreams by Rachel Parker for Cloud9 Fabrics, a playful purple-forward organic cotton collection full of unicorns, stars, rainbows, and dreamy prints. It sparked a great conversation about what organic fabric actually means in quilting cotton and how companies like Cloud9 approach sustainable production.
Then we move into Palette by Marcia Derse — a beautifully textured blender collection that immediately shot to the top of my favorites list. These colors have a subtle washed texture that gives quilts depth without overpowering a design. I’m already planning new kits and patterns with these.
From there we explore:
• Brilliance metallic coordinates by Hoffman Fabrics
• The Plaid One by Marcia Derse (29 gorgeous painterly plaids)
• A quilt kit combining Palette + Plaid One
• A sneak peek at Mirror by Zen Chic (a modern Scandinavian-inspired neutral collection)

I also share a quick look at some English paper piecing projects I recently finished using Giucy Giuce’s Enrapture collection — a perfect reminder that small creative projects can be just as satisfying as big quilts.
