These creatures may be farm elk but they are still fierce and very much wild at heart. Ranging in size between 800 and 1200 pounds when fully mature, elk are fascinating beasts and a desirable source of meat for human consumption. Imagine the strength to lift another elk - weighing even hundreds of pounds more - above their head and "shake it like a rag doll". There's a reason these bulls are not ridden at rodeos :)
