I've come to Scotland to go munro bagging and solo wild camping. I've chosen to summit wild camp on the mountain Stuc a Chroin at 3199ft. Firstly, I need to ascend Ben Vorlich located in the southern highlands.
I've got some new backpacking gear to test out including the Hilleberg Unna backpacking tent and Osprey Volt 65 backpacking bag. Other new camping gear includes a Lighttour winter sleeping pad.
My backpack weighed approx. 15kg including food and water. This is a respectable weigh for winter wild camping use.
