When you’ve been struggling for a long time, hope can start to feel like a trap. If you don’t hope that change is possible, you don’t have to try. You don’t have to risk failure. You don’t have to face disappointment.

But the cost of avoiding hope is staying exactly where you are. Growth requires uncertainty. It’s scary, but it’s also the only way forward.

Listen to the February 3rd episode of Being Well, where I share key lessons from 400 episodes of the podcast, giving you a crash course in personal growth and development.
