On paper, of course Yellowstone is the first. But, let's look a little deeper. Let's look at the IDEA of National Parks themselves. This idea that we're going to take certain pieces of land, remove them from the normal economic pressures land is subjected to, and instead use them simply for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. That's the idea underpinning all National Parks today, and it was born in... Yosemite. Not Yellowstone. All about it in this latest video. Enjoy.
