In this side event, we explored how to build solidarity between different actors and movements who are working towards a new eco-social contract and a just and green recovery from COVID-19, by integrating different perspectives on social, climate and environmental justice. The event drew on Finland’s experience of an eco-welfare state and on UNRISD’s work on the need for a new eco-social contract.
