Global Affairs Canada is urging the estimated 45,000 Canadians in Lebanon to leave the country amid escalating conflict between Hezbollah militants and Israeli forces. On Friday, the ministry said it chartered flights to Cyprus for Canadians fleeing Lebanon. But for some of those with family in the area, leaving isn’t so simple.
